Yoyo games

The only problem I have in this site is the low raters! They rate people's games low without even playing them!!

The sad thing is that there's really nothing you can do.

Yoyo is great at first, but it just doesn't reward anything other than graphics focused games or gimmicky gameplay (particularly the judges/staff). Although that may just be a symptom of gamers with the attention span of a knat lol.

I used to have 3 staff picks, but deliberately removed them and reposted them a new account just to distance myself from the staff's narrow view of what a good game is. The cooperation 1st place selection is what really did it, it's totally lame and lacks anything new or even remotely exciting. It's a very safe and familiar game, which I think reflects the judges mindset. Lost Snowmen was a much better choice.

But yoyo is fine if you just enjoy making little GM games and don't really care about ratings or how many people play. It's definately a good place to get started and get a little feedback about your games
