Then you have never played an FPS game and you probably don't even know what it is. Go to store and spend you college funds on at least 3 of the games listed and play them from beginning to end.

How can you choose? I decided on Halo because that's what started me into FPS, but there's no way to pick a single game.

Good point.

Each of these games is unique in its own, individual way. Some have more of an emphasis on action, others exploration, ect. ect.

For instance, how can you compare Halo, Metroid Prime, and COD?

Its like comparing Sonic, Mario, and Donkey Kong, ya know what I"m sayin?

how about I blow your minds and introduce you to...

Download Aleph One. Then Download M1A1, Marathon Durandal, and Marathon Infinity. Make separate folders for each, and install Aleph One according to the Install.Windows (for windows users)

Then, for added fun, go to simplici7y.com for extra maps and such.
