Dude I love metal I'm evenseein Metallica in November! Megadeth and Slayer are beast too! but i still think slipknot is the best and besides, as I type this they're in seccond.

how does metal apeal to you? im a big pop fan so you know im not trying to cut down metal just what about it that you like the most? i mean i like soft pop like billy joel beatles and elo and michael jackson because im always sad it seems so these make me feel better thats why i like pop now please i beg one of you to answer me please

Metal relieves stress. I like it because the guitar and drums is sick in most of the best metal songs, and because metal and rock vocals are the only vocals I like.

anyways, stress relief, plus i find a certain connection to the intensity of the riffs, the hardcore-ness of the drums, and the pain in the voice in some songs.

I'm really more of a hard rock/ punk rock fan myself. I mean some metal is awesome(like Disturbed, Iron Maiden and Slipknot), but I don't like the harsh singing/uncomprehendable garble in most metal songs.

I love nu-metal though. It's like rap and metal combined, frekin awesome!

And the metal I listen to is not uncomprehensable... you just have a whole new level of emotion compared to *poop* music and rap. And metal usually revolves around pain, not pleasure.
